Road testing, defect and punch-list management, corrective-action verification, and final acceptance — the vehicle isn't released until the paperwork and the vehicle agree.
Route energy modeling, charger sizing and siting, utility interconnection and make-ready timelines, depot layout, and phasing that keeps service running while the fleet turns over.
Warranty tracking, parts and technical-support escalation, and OEM performance accountability for the life of the contract — not just through delivery.
Accessibility
ADA compliance gets verified, not assumed.
Wheelchair lift and ramp function, securement system testing, accessible boarding sequence, kneeling and ramp-deployment cycles, and passenger safety systems get checked as part of acceptance — not left for the agency to discover in service.
Paratransit operations — vehicle configuration, securement hardware, and accessible boarding — are part of the same specification and inspection discipline applied to fixed-route fleet.
